Creative Writing:  Spin Your Own Fairytale!

Tuesdays, June 13 through July 25 . . . 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Have you ever wondered:  What if Cinderella sprained her ankle instead of losing her shoe?  What if there were only 4 dwarfs instead of 7?  Have you ever wanted to write a different ending to a fairytale or create your own fairytale?  Now you can!  Children ages 6-10 are invited to register for this 6-week creative class.  Who knows?  You may end up with your very own book at the end of the session. Registration is appreciated for all 6 sessions—we understand that a week here or there may be missed.

Each week will be different, so come and join us to find out what we’re making! Ages 5 and up are invited to explore with us. The program will last 45-60 minutes depending on the creativity and design of the challenge.

Registration for each week is appreciated to make sure we have enough creative “stuff” for everyone!

We have spent a year baking, sautéing, burning, and tasting some yummy recipes. Now it’s time to create your own favorite dish and bring it to share!  Get together with old friends, or come out and make new ones.  The picnic will be held outside at the Rotary Pavilion (this is the pavilion closest to the police station/municipal building/soccer fields).  New members are always welcome at Hampton Community Library’s longest-running adult program, a cookbook and food discussion group.
