Hi Friends,

October is one of my favorite months (not just because Halloween is just around the corner). It's a month for bonfires & harvest, everyone has started to settle in to their new school routines & my kids don't complain so much when we have soup for dinner.

Remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books? October can be a month full of adventures! Today we offer up a choose-your-own-celebration inspired by a few of our favorite national days of recognition. Just follow the links:

-Indigenous People's Day (October 12) with a Lakota Story of Star Boy & the Navajo story of the Stars.

-Hispanic Heritage month (September 15-October 15) with the incredible author & illustrator Yuyi Morales

-Disability Awareness month (October) & ADHD Awareness Month

As you go about your day, please remember that we are all different & we are all special.
