Hi Friends
Whoh, ohh, let's go fly a kite...Spring is just around the corner!
Now you might have heard the expression "March comes in like a lion, and out like a lamb," but do you ever think about what it means? What does it mean? Hmmm....Try to think like a scientist this month. First, make a prediction: do you think we will have more Lion Days or more Lamb days? Whay? Then, observe the weather each day. Decide if it is a Lion Day (wild, blustery, roaring weather) or a Lamb Day (gentle, mild, sweet weather) and record your findings. You could make a nifty chart or graph to show your findings, or just make a little note on a paper calendar.
Quick! Describe 5 things you see in each picture:

One of my favorite spring holidays is Martisor. I love the idea of wearing a simple red-and-white string to bring good luck all year long! Take some time this weekend to prepare a special martisor token for friends & family. Feeling more ambitious? Work on a kite with a little help from PBS Kids Design Squad.
Toodleloo, Kangaroos!
